HOW TO MAKE DARK GREEN BLUE (BN0)

Glasurit 55 Line Solvent 1L Formula:

352-91: 174.2g

55-A929: 88.6g
55-A548: 28.9g
55-A125: 25.0g

BN0, the colour code for Dark Green Blue, is a mix between a green tone and a blue tone colour that shines bright in the sun with a white pearl, but is also a dark colour at the same time! To make this colour in Glasurit, you need to start with a small amount of a medium white pearl to start the groundwork for the metallic effect and sparkle shift in the sun, then a ton of a transparent very green blue to lay the colour foundation. A combination of blue black and jet black is needed to darken the colour up a lot more, then a small amount of another green blue is needed, which has a red blue flip for better colour control. Finally, a small amount of a reduced white is needed to give the colour a little bit of a milky look to it, completing the colour and giving it the Dark Green Blue appearance! This colour has a Greener variant out of the OEM factory compared to the Standard version. If you want to know which version your colour is exactly, visit your local paint shop that specialises with spectrophotometer technology!

55-A532: 49.7g
55-A353: 18.2g

KM1, the colour code for Grey metallic, is a complimentary colour found on many series 1 and series 1.5 R33s to go with the KL0 silver! To make the paint in Glasurit, you need to start with quite an amount of medium fine aluminium silver to achieve the fine silver look to the colour, with some medium rounded aluminium silver to brighten up the metallic more. A big amount of blue black to give the colour a darker and bluer appearance. Some jet black is thrown in to help darken the colour some more. Some dirty reddish blue is put in to redden up and blue up the colour whilst dirtying it at the same time, then a small amount of magenta to balance the colour flip and finally finish the grey colour to complete the look! KM1 has a Darker and Green variant out of the OEM factory compared to the Standard version. 352-91: 174.3g
55-M800: 126.2g
55-M99/12: 78.4g
55-A347: 224.2g

55-M0: 688.6g
55-A352: 23.5g
55-A353: 8.9g

AN0, the colour code for Super Clear Red, is a dark red pearl with a candy red layer over the top to make this colour even more awesome! To make the base layer in Glasurit paint, firstly some russet pearl is needed to start the metallic base, as well as a clean medium aluminium silver to add in some more metallic sparkle. Next, throwing in some maroon to give the colour a much darker red tone, as well as some red violet to stay within the red shade, but giving it a more purplish tone. Then, mix in some magenta for some more red/blue tone and then finally a small amount of blue black to darken up the colour slightly and you have the base layer! To make the candy layer, a lot of mixing clear binder is needed to create the candy effect. Toss in some dark red and a touch of magenta and then finally stirring it all up will make the candy layer! The candy causes the colour to look dark out of the sunlight, but brightens up in the sunshine! There's a "Dirtier" variant out of the OEM factory compared to the Standard version. To find out which version is yours exactly, visit a local paint shop that specialises with spectrophotometer technology!

Making this colour in Glasurit paint requires 3 different reds just to achieve this unique paint! Lots of brilliant bright red is needed to start of the colour, followed by a burgundy red to help darken and deepen the colour. A red brown follows up afterwards to darken up and dirty up AR2, finishing up with some high strength white to slightly lighten the red and then some yellow/orange to give it a more orange tone. Thanks to the red brown tint darkening up the colour, black is not needed in this mix, which helps preserve the brightness and depth that makes Active Red stand out in a crowd!

KR4 Sonic Silver
HOW TO MAKE SONIC SILVER (KR4)

Glasurit 55 Line Solvent 1L Formula:

352-91: 173.8g
55-M99/10: 336.9g
55-M99/19: 257.0g
55-A929: 75.4g
55-A974: 41.3g
55-M1: 18.3g
55-A548: 9.7g
55-A423: 6.4g

KR4, the colour code for Sonic Silver, is just one out of the two silvers available with the 1st series of the R34s. Making this in Glasurit paint requires a lot of fine aluminium silver and rounded aluminium silver to brighten up the colour when the sunlight hits the colour. Adding in some jet black and blue black helps to both darken and dirty up the silver, with some final touches of transparent greenish blue and violet blue to give the silver a more bluish tone. All of that, plus some M1 additive to brighten up the silver flakes, makes the Sonic Silver we all know today! There exists 3+ variations of KR4 out of the OEM factory compared to the Standard version. LP2, the colour code for Midnight Purple, is the original Midnight Purple that started its popularity on the R33 GT-Rs and even some GTS25t Type M 40th Anniversary models! It's a very dark purple with some beautiful purple pearl sprinkled throughout it! To make MP in Glasurit paint, first some flash red pearl, violet pearl and blue pearl are added in to start the pearl base, with all 3 mixed together creating the purple pearl of MP! Next, a ton of jet black and blue black are added in to darken the colour a lot. Next, some clear mixing binder is added in to help hold the pearls together, along with some red violet to create the purple tone of the colour. Finally, some bluish green is added in for colour flip control, with all of it stirred together creating the OG Midnight Purple LP2! There is a "Lighter" variation out of the OEM factory compared to the Standard version. QM1 White
HOW TO MAKE WHITE (QM1)

Glasurit 22 Line 2K 1L Formula:

22-M0: 196.5g
22-M60: 1008.9g
22-A126: 41.9g
22-A105: 25.2g
22-A131: 8.3g

QM1, the colour code for White used on various R34 models, may seem like just ordinary white, but it's different in its own way to make contrast very differently when compared to a different solid white on a different vehicle! Making this in Glasurit 2 Pack (2K) paint for a solid, durable and accurate finish requires lots of high strength white and some tinting black to give the colour a darker and slight dirty appearance. It also needs some tinting ochre to give it a more yellow look and some tinting blue for some colour control. Most importantly, clear mixing binder is needed to hold all of that together to make the beautiful QM1 white! There are 7+ variations of this colour from the OEM factory compared to the standard version, so every R34 model production line will differ slightly. If you want to know exactly which version of QM1 is yours, take it to a local paint shop that specialises with spectrophotometer technology!

352-91: 176.4g
55-M25: 863.2g

Glasurit 55 Line Solvent Pearl Layer 1L Formula:

55-M010: 84.2g
55-M0: 542.6g
55-A125: 54.4g
55-M1: 51.6g

WK1, the colour code for Silky Snow Pearl, is a 2 layer white pearl with a coarse pearl layer that shines brilliantly in the sun! To make the base layer of WK1 in Glasurit paint, first lots of a high strength white is needed to begin the white base. Then, some blue black is needed to slightly darken the white, followed by some ochre to give the white a more yellowish tone and then finally, an oxide red is thrown in to give the colour a more dirty red tone! That creates the base layer for WK1. To make the pearl layer, some white pearl is added first to start off. Then, a lot of mixing clear binder is added in to not only hold the pearl together, but also to enhance the transparency needed for pearl layer. A small amount of reduced white is added to give the pearl layer a slightly more white base to it. Finally, add in some M1 additive to make the pearl shine more brightly in the sun and that's how you make the pearl layer of WK1! Paint both layers on correctly and you'll have a shiny Silky Snow Pearl! There are 3+ variations of WK1 compared to the Standard version.
